Congratulations! 2026 Outstanding Alumni Chapter of the Year for District of Mississippi
The Omicron Rho Lambda Chapter of Vicksburg, MS was awarded the March of Dimes Project Alpha Award at Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s 97th General Convention in Dallas, TX on July 29, 2023 at their Gala.
We, the men of Omicron Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., hosted our annual Gentlemen Luncheon on June 3, 2023 to honor and congratulate the young men of our mentoring program before we ended the year before the summer break.

Greetings and God Speed from the Mighty House of Alpha my dear brothers and friends of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I have been blessed to lead such a fine group of brothers by being their President of the Omicron Rho Lambda Chapter. These brothers and I truly work diligently to support and carry out the aims of the fraternity: Manly Deeds, Scholarships, and Love for All Mankind.
The Omicron Rho Lambda Chapter has been steadfast at serving the Vicksburg, Mississippi community. We will continue to do our part in developing leaders, promoting brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our community. First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All.

Since there has been some redistricting changes this year for Vicksburg and Warren County, you may want to reconfirm the location of your polling place. If so, visit https://www.sos.ms.gov/elections-voting/polling-place-locator. It is very easy. You only need to put in your home address and it will show your polling location and a map from your home to the polling location. If a Mississippian would like to check to see if they are registered to vote, they can visit https://www.msegov.com/sos/voter_registration/amiregistered/Search.
Applicants can register in-person in the Circuit or Municipal Clerk’s Office or mail registration applications.
